Windows 2000 Internet Explorer setup

Step 1: With Internet Explorer open click the Tools button, then Internet Options.

Step 2: Click on the Connections tab and choose the setup option, make sure Internet explorer is set to Never dial a connection.

Step 3: Once you have clicked setup chose the third option, I want to set up my Internet connection manually. Now click next.

Step 4: Once you have done that, click the box that says, “I connect through a local area network”. Now click next.

Step 5: A new box will appear make sure there is nothing checked in this box. Now you may click next.

Step 6: You are now finished click the Finish button, and restart your Internet Explorer.
